WHY TEAM BUILDING IS SO IMPORTANT FOR OUR ORGANIZATION

I had the opportunity to be surrounded by black women leaders who have proven that anything is possible. In a world full of cynics it is vital to stay focused and surround yourself with people who celebrate both their failures and successes. The power of ‘I am’ is everyday teaching that I have yet to master. I saw the woman I want to become and I know nothing can stop me because I believe ‘I am worth more than what the eye can see’. Thank you Seanego Foundations for helping to build not only communities but our internal stakeholders

What I have learned is that conflict can create problems in the organization that will cause it not to operate well or slowing down progress. Together we must deal with conflict in the right way. We must listen to each other before taking any action. We must create and build good relationships with our supporters and donors.

The team-building event was fun, engaging, and memorable in a way that every member walked away more informed and encouraged on their personal role of being a member and how to help grow the foundation.

Team building brings people together by encouraging collaboration and teamwork. One of the most important reasons for team building activities is to get results whether positive or negative. After our team building activities together are concluded, members better grasp each other’s skills, strengths, weaknesses, and capabilities. This understanding encourages us to work even well together on future projects vital to the organization. Completed Projects

Our first school project was at Omar H.M Ebrahim, a primary school which is located in Lotus Gardens, Pretoria West wherein, SF managed to contribute 10 pairs of school shoes in January 2016. In another project, we contributed over 200 pairs of winter school socks to the following disadvantaged schools: Omar H.M. Ebrahim and Transoranje School for the deaf with just over 200 learners. SF hopes that with this donation, most of the absenteeism problems during winter seasons would be eliminated.

CIPS SA BURSARY TRUST

We are honored to be one of the recipients of the CIPS Bursary Trust Scholarship. Thank you for affording us this opportunity and we look forward to benefiting the most out of it. We consider ourselves fortunate to be amongst the successful CIPS SA Bursary Trust students/organizations. It is our wish to plow back our expertise into the procurement community and be a source of inspiration to others. 2019 will be an exciting year’s journey with the Charted Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). Your scholarship will help us earn credentials in Supply Chain and Procurement industry. #SF #CIPS

28 May 2020: COVID-19 Relief: Mooiplaas CPF

SF would like to take this opportunity to appreciate everyone who supported this event. You are the pillar of SF, and without you, none of these would have been possible, may the Almighty richly bless you. We had a peaceful charity event and managed to donate food parcels, sanitizers, masks, and gentle-worn clothes to 58 households at Mooiplaas CPF. 14 February 2019: Celebrating Valentine’s Day with Chris Hani Primary School

We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude for your support. We can truly say that our charity event on Valentine’s Day would not be a success without your donations and assistance. We want you to know that your efforts made a major difference to underprivileged learners. Your donations, contributions, and prayers brought happiness, love, and peace to the families where they were most needed. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the following Organisations: Eskom, Queen Majelo and Diphala Consultants & Projects Managers, as well as our professional photographer, Phuti Seanego, we were deeply moved by your response towards this event. Through your cheerful donations, we have managed to distribute 58 pairs of school shoes, 8 pairs of socks, and stationery to Chris Hani Primary School. Once again, thank you!!!
